When school feeding programs pause for the holidays, the children who depend on them do not stop being hungry. For orphans and vulnerable children across Ogun State, the weeks between December and January can be the most difficult of the year. From December 14 to 20, 2025, the OOA Foundation activated its Priceless Gift Initiative to meet that need. Working across all six Local Government Areas where the Foundation maintains active implementation, the team distributed nutritional food packages to 150 orphans and vulnerable children and their families. The timing was intentional. The holidays are meant for celebration but for households already stretched thin, they can bring added strain. By providing food security during this critical period, the Foundation offered more than sustenance. It offered stability. It offered the knowledge that someone sees the struggle and shows up. Berger Paint Nigeria PLC joined as a partner, demonstrating the power of corporate collaboration in humanitarian response. Together, they ensured that 150 children and their families sat down to meals they might otherwise have gone without. The Priceless Gift Initiative carries a name that speaks for itself. But the true gift was not in the packages distributed. It was in the message they carried: that in Ogun State, no child is forgotten, not even during the holidays.
